Hans Wobbe, at DataFix, focuses on providing the best available valued services, in a mutually benefical relationship, to as few Clients as possible.

Hans has done this since the start of his career in 1969 in the University of Waterloo's state of the art computing center, by continuously improving his skilled applications of computer and related technologies to the problems of Business and Government.

Since founding DataFix in 1992, Hans has had a persistent focus on Data issues, especially in support of DataFix's key strategic relationships, that have data of a national scope and a 'definitive' nature. Specifically:

• Canada Post Corporation, successfully re-introducing the National Change of Address service which DataFix has operated since 1994.

• Bell Canada Enterprises various operating companies, building the first versions of Canada 411 and the directory servers.

• All three levels of Canada's electoral authorites, including providing Ontario's Municipalities with the Municipal Voter View, a new product to providing superior data maintenance services for this sector.

• Many members of Canada's financial services industry including all of the big Banks.

At NAMMU's Montreal Chapter meeting, on April 21, Hans will present:

• The implications of recent changes in CPC's NCOA service.
• An explanation of the comming extensions of NAMMU's announced NixisByNAMMU service,
• The issues around the opportunity to re-introduce the Change of Address pool that Quebec's utilities used to participate in and how this can be profitable for both data Providers and Acquires, while satisfying both Quebec's and Canada's Privacy requirements.
